1)you can turn on the axis by pressing view axis,
2)to draw you use the pencil witch is the line tool, this is the simplest and you get there by going to the draw and line tool
3)arcs are drawn with the arc tool witch is under the draw arc tab
4)the tool is represented as a pencil and where ever you drag it line will be drawn
5)drawing preferances are how your pencil draws with out changing anything
